A mental checkup UTG

You have a hand under the gun. It doesn’t really matter what it is — 55 in a 6-max LHE game or KQo UTG 9-handed. The hand quality isn’t the point. Anyway, the hand is a +EV hand, but isn’t worth a ton; it’s not like Aces or Kings, for example.

Anyway, you know that it’s +EV to play the hand, but at the same time, you know that you increase your chance of going on tilt and switching from your A game and your C game.

How much does this hand need to be worth to you before you’ll play it no matter what? How much does risk of tilt weigh into your decision making?  How much does hand value correlate to tilt potential, for you?
