I’m not endorsing the thoughts in either of these blogs (they actually seem to be a bit divergent but I’m still catching up on both of them), but they’re both very well written and have good info to chew on.  Shoutout to Evan for recommending the first one, Information Arbitrage.  The second I’ve been reading for a while and isn’t quite as in depth, but provides a lot of updates — Paul Kedrovsky’s Infectious Greed.

I’d highly recommend reading both of them just to get a bit more abreast about the economic landscape.  I won’t profess enough knowledge to really say a ton here but we’re certainly witnessing a once-in-a-lifetime event.

Overall since returning to the Stars LHE games I’m running at like 36/28, which is way laggier than I remember being before, but it’s feeling pretty good so far.  I get the feeling I’ll calm down and start playing some standard 32/22 or whatever once I’ve been playing a lot more, but I’m really digging isolating the hell out of as many bad players as I can and trying to get good players out of the pots with me.  The games in general seem to be running pretty aggro pre and showdown-bound postflop, but there are most definitely spots you can find to exploit the combo of people who calldown too much and people who fold too much (using one to exploit the other).  Holla!

No poker today after almost 6k hands this week.  I put in about 3k hands at PLO and close to 3k hands working on my LHE miniseries with Chuck (comes out on Tuesday, should be good shit IMO), but today it’s time to head out and play some Ultimate with the hat/draft team I’m captaining for this Fall.  Good times.

Picture isn’t of me, but I don’t care because it’s just so awesome (guy attempting to greatest a hammer).  Can’t find any of my team photos from this/last year on this comp so this is gonna have to do for those who don’t know what Ultimate is.

Using Neat Receipts for Mac now to organize all of the paperwork that I have laying around that isn’t filed.  Life is about to get so much cleaner.
