Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Super busy here at DC West. We’re going to be having an end-of-the-month meetup to coincide with a bunch of DC peeps getting together in NYC (where most of them live anyway) and do a bunch of work, maybe go see a Mariner’s game, dunno what else. Fun stuff though IMO, even the work part (which is most of it).
If any of you Seattle readers want to meet up, let us know, we may do dinner/drinks either downtown or in Ballard (DC west home). Confirmed for Seattle meetup are:
Joe Tall, me, DeathDonkey, riverboatking, DJ Sensei, and danzasmack
We’ll also have some of our behind the scenes guys here, basically the development and editing team. Good chance for everyone to have some face time which is really important when running a business like this, where almost everything we do is done through email/Skype/AIM.
Beyond that… it’s gonna be a busy couple of months with some of the ideas we have percolating leading up to the WSOP-time, but I’m really really excited to be working on pretty much everything that we have going on.
As a side note, if any of you limidonks out there are interested in having some session/vid/other review done publicly, post here or in the forums @ DC or send me an email. I’m toying with some ideas right now and don’t really know where I’m going with them, but I’d like to hear from more DC members so we can continue to make the site more immersive and more about you than about us.
